Coasties Coffee!! in Colorado Springs

Greetings!  The group called “Coffee with Coasties” continues to have a long and strong history of meeting and enjoying sea stories once a month at various coffee shops in Southern Colorado.  As most of you know, we, unfortunately, lost a dear friend, CDR Dick Cancellier, who was our principal coordinator and a plank-owning member. We plan on honoring Dick by keeping this tradition alive.  I will be assisting Ralph Wendland in sending out reminders and answering questions.

Our gatherings are a time for fellowship and laughter. They also serve as a supplement to the great meetings put on by our larger sister group “Colorado Coasties.” Located in the Colorado Springs area, the meeting location for Coffee with Coasties (referenced below) allows easy access for those living in the southern portion of the I-25 corridor.  This e-mail distribution includes Coasties near the Springs from both groups.

Date: First Friday of each Month

Time: 1100

Agenda: Informal - No guest speakers, just conversation among the group

Location: Black Bear Diner, 1340 Garden of the Gods Rd, Colorado Springs, CO

Logistics: The restaurant has given us access to their large room (to the left after you pass the greeters). They serve breakfast and lunch.  Anticipate a reminder/coordination e-mail to come out before each meeting. Please RSVP and let me know if you plan on attending so I can advise Black Bear Diner regarding table set up.

Let me know if you have any questions.  Look forward to seeing you shipmates!
